Thunderclouds, light drizzle, gentle snores, the breeze playing catch with the unhinged door are all that has accompanied me on this sojourn.
A question of who am I at exactly 03:24. An answer I’m still yet to figure out.
Over the years, I’ve tagged myself the Jill of all trades. With interests varying from real estate to cake tutorials to poetry, the sky is basically the limit when it comes to my interests.
However, with the curiosity of a scientist, the attention span of a fruit fly is my biggest bane as my interests in things change at the speed of light.
One thing I’ve come to realize though is that at my core are still certain things that remain constant like how I dread taking risks but then somehow do it anyways, my reaction to specific events, how I’m perpetually honest and my increasing hunger for perfection. The core of my being is still pretty much me, to be honest. I am a child at heart. An idealist who says she doesn’t believe but then hopes for the miracles!
The question of who I am is truly a journey I’m on like you all. I’m finding out along the way. Carefully constructing my life to reach a desired end. I’m learning to master my mind and control my excesses. Working on self discipline and all that it requires.
So if I were to answer the question of who I truly am. I’m just a blank canvas, adding colors to my life as I go along. A blank verse, figuring out the rhymes as I draft this piece of existence called life.
